Greg Cuoco

Greg Cuoco

After his experience in college radio, Greg Cuoco started spinning records in downtown NYC in 1990. A firm base in funk, soul, disco & house music landed Greg in the midst of a weekend residency at the Lower East Side’s Sapphire Lounge during the mid 1990’s. During that time he was involved in many other clubs & parties and was a part of the house music scene with record promotion, A&R; & management. Greg’s collaboration with many other DJs brought about the legendary Aqua-booty! parties and brought together the best talent to provide a true underground event in NYC. From there Greg was able to spin overseas to crowds at the UK’s Ministry of Sound & Italy’s Echos as well as many other clubs. Turning to production Greg debuted with his version of surf - house with “The Aqua-booty! Theme” on Victor Simonelli’s BigBig Trax label. Starting his own label Aqua-booty! Records was the next step and several records were released. The label is currently putting out house records on Traxsource and other online retailers.
