I am the co-founder and CEO of BrightWhistle, an emerging growth business located in Atlanta, GA. We deliver a Social Patient Acquisition platform for hospitals, independent physician practices and clinical networks looking for the most efficient method to acquire profitable patients and procedures in search and social media.

I have a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Prior to BrightWhistle, I served on the management team of three start-up companies including iXL, Silverpop and Southern DIrect, a company I founded in 2003. After Southern Direct was acquired by Turner Broadcasting, I served as Turner's VP of Corporate Development, managing the company's M&A; and investment activities. After Turner, I spent a couple of years in VC and in 2010, made it back into the entrepreneurial world with BrightWhistle. I sit on one other board - The Onion - and two advisory boards - Clearleap and Automated Insights.

I grew up in Riverdale, GA. Today, I live in Marietta, GA with my wife, Christine and our two sons, Jack and Henry. We attend Marietta First United Methodist Church.
