Husband, father, grandfather, dog fanatic, restaurant critic, at-home chef, wine enthusiast, music junkie, investment advisor, business owner, avid reader.

My three best, and favorite titles are husband and father and grandfather. As a dog fanatic, I have a strong bias towards Airedales and rescues, but have been known to spoil Goldendoodles and black labs. My tendency to critique restaurants I visit, for both food and service, is due to a twelve year history in restaurant management. Not everyone I dine with appreciates my opinions...hmm. When not eating out, creating new and great tasting dinners is a frequent activity, most often while enjoying a glass of fine (or cheap) wine and listening to a wide variety of music. Appreciation for many styles of music is rooted in an even earlier career in managing various record stores. Those are vinyl albums. Black discs that play music with a needle. Never mind.

My career as an investment advisor began in 1989, with Merrill Lynch. In 1991, I had the good fortune to establish a partnership with my father which lasted until his retirement in 1996. This is also the year in which I shifted the emphasis of my career to focus on innovative asset allocation strategies in portfolio management. This was driven by a unique partnership with Robert Rowe, an investment consultant with the Morgan Stanley office in Chicago, who is a leader in domestic equity allocation strategies. This partnership endured until 2010.

I have held the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA) certification, administered by Investments & Wealth Institute and taught in conjunction with the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, since 2002.

In 2010, along with my partners, we established Resolve Capital Management, a registered investment advisory firm. Through Resolve Capital, we are able to offer our investment services to individual and institutional investors. Our firm is focused on providing well-diversified, transparent and low- cost portfolio management through an asset-based fee structure intended to meet the specific investment goals and objectives of our clients.

That is a quick take on me. Since this site is about.me, it only seems appropriate.
