Greg Limeberry
Salt Lake City, Utah, United States
Greg Limeberry of Salt Lake City, Utah, is a ski patrolman at Snowbird mountain. He grew up in New Hartford, New York, playing hockey and skiing, continuing to do both through college. He began skiing at a young age, as his entire family were skiers, so he learned a great deal and became very strong at the sport early on in his life.
He he moved out west to attend college, and while he was there he skied at some of the most incredible mountains in America. He would take weekend trips to places like Jackson Hole, Vail, and Alta to conquer their slopes. Upon graduating, he wanted to continue skiing while he decided on what he wanted his career to be.
He took a job as a ski lift attendant to make some money while he pondered his future, but instead he fell in love with the mountain, and never left. Wanting to ski more, he took the training course to become a ski patrolman, and now can be found on the slopes of snowbird, rescuing skiers and keeping the mountain safe. His job is his passion and he wouldn’t want to be doing anything else.
During the off-season, Greg Limeberry keeps busy by traveling as much as possible. He loves adventure, so any trip that involves hiking, camping, kayaking, climbing, etc.is right up his alley. He has gone on some amazing adventures thus far in his life, such as traversing the zion narrows, camping in glacier national park and climbing Mt. McKinley in Alaska. He goes on trips each year, and this year he is hoping to take his travels abroad.
