Greg Morganroth
A Michigan native, Greg Morganroth attended the University of Michigan as an undergraduate and graduated cum laude from the University of Michigan School of Medicine. Dr. Greg Morganroth began his internship at the University of Pennsylvania and completed his residency in dermatology at Yale University. In 1994, Dr. Greg Morganroth received a fellowship to study Mohs surgery and the latest advancements in laser and dermatologic surgery at the Baptist Medical Center and Hunkeler Eye Clinic in Kansas City, Missouri.
After completing his surgical training, Dr. Greg Morganroth moved to the Bay Area, where he founded the California Skin Institute, Silicon Valley’s largest dermatology, laser, and cosmetic surgery facility. One of only a few Board Certified and fellowship-trained dermatologic surgeons in the Bay Area, Dr. Greg Morganroth is an expert in the surgical management of skin diseases and a sought-after reconstructive and cosmetic surgeon.
Dr. Greg Morganroth is currently the Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery at Stanford University, where he founded and co-directed the Next Step Dermatologic Surgery Course. With the opening of the California Skin Institute’s San Jose/Los Gatos flagship building, Dr. Greg Morganroth will expand his teaching duties to fellowships in Mohs surgery and cosmetic surgery taught out of the new facility, located across the street from Good Samaritan Hospital.
Widely published in prestigious medical journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine, the Proceedings of the National Academy of Science, the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, and the Clinics in Plastic Surgery, Dr. Greg Morganroth has contributed to Surgery of the Skin: Procedural Dermatology, the exhaustive reference textbook for aesthetic surgeons.
