Tech, music, art, current events and the imperfect means we filter them through to percieve them are some of my passions. I work as an electronic tech in the San Francisco Bay area. I play jazz, blues, rock and dance music for fun, as often as possible. I have a son who also plays music; he's a drummer, singer, guitarist and songwriter. He's well on his way, at an age where I was still trying to figure out where the A string was. Ah, Youth!

I have a great respect for, and interest in, the cultures and traditions of Asia in general. I'm learning about tea; its history and uses. There's a lot going on there. Popular music in all its forms is a subject I rarely tire of discussing or exploring. It's always good to listen to something new, and expend one's horizons.

I'm from the Chicago area originally, but have made California my home since the mid 70's. Something about the Bay area, with its mix of cultures and arts, appeals to me.
