I consider myself a life journeyman.I have worked across many fields from the construction industry to the hotel industry to the security industry to being a bouncer to being a petroleum surveyor and to being a teacher.
I made another switch recently in 2014 to being a Port Captain with FK Agencies. My job entails travelling around regional ports like Malaysia and Indonsia to ensure our principal's interests are well taken care off.The type of cargo that is being loaded onto ships are Palm Oil by products.
I love travelling especially being close with the sea like being my brother quoting Jack Kerouac. I have back packed to Europe, India and Nepal in my younger days.
At the begiinning of the journey, I cut short my education to work - I suppose as a young adult,I wanted funds to liven my life up.However, very much later in life, I took my A Levels full time as an adult. Then off to pursuing a part time degree with SIM University in 2002 and graduated with a BA English and Literature in 2007.
In 2010, I took up ACTA which is an Advanced Certificate in Training & Development - very much a recognised certification for trainers in Singapore.
I am currently into the marine industry and have plans to pursue further studies in this area. The road has been forked many a times and I have taken roads less travelled before. Some wrong turns were part of this road map just like life;s journey.
So this begins a new leg of my life story.
