Project Management, Program Development, and Quality Assurance in Portland, Oregon
From my point of view, it is all about teamwork. During my seven years of experience in Quality Assurance related roles, which often also included taking on project management and program development responsibilities, my peers were constantly amazed at my ability and willingness to collaborate.
It just so happens that this has been ingrained in me. I grew up playing many team sports, and went on to an exciting Division 1 soccer career at the University of Portland. What this taught me more than anything is that it takes a complete team, with each player doing his/her part, for true success to occur.
This can't be more true in the professional world. This is why I want to pursue roles and companies with a strong focus on "team". Some of my achievements to date that relate to this goal are:
> Development of Reporting Processes and Functional Database for Deviation Reporting across the Pacific Cancer Research Consortium - Collaborated with senior staff at the three institutions comprising the PCRC to develop and implement viable and efficient pathways for reporting protocol deviations. In addition, our team developed a robust and agile database to build reports and ensure adequate levels of oversight from key stakeholders.
> 8/8 Successful External Audits - During my tenure as QA Auditor at Providence Health and Services, I assisted in or managed the preparation efforts for 8 external audits on our consortium research. Each audit required a unique plan, clear and effective communication with internal stakeholders as well as external auditors, the ability to think critically and prioritize, and complete execution of the plan in under 90 days.
> Over 30% reduction in production errors - From identification of the issues, to presentations to senior management, to training development and implementation, I led the holistic and collaborative effort to drastically improve the documentation and Good Manufacturing Practices at Health Wright Products.
If you are looking a hard-working, optimistic, goal oriented, and, of course, team player to join your company, please do not hesitate to contact me.
