Born to Irish and Italian parents, a few weeks before the fall of the Berlin Wall. Coincidentally or not, he has always been a student of history and world affairs, which has afforded him the ability to maintain a global perspective when analyzing all issues, both during his academic life and in his career as an investor. A dual citizen of the United States and Ireland, Greg is an avid traveler and always looking for the next adventure.
Greg attended college at Johns Hopkins University, where he double majored in International Studies and Economics. He was accepted to the Johns Hopkins School of International Studies (SAIS), where he earned a graduate degree in International Relations & Economics with a specialization in International Finance. During his time at John Hopkins, Greg had the opportunity to work as a research assistant for political science Professor Daniel Deudney. While at Hopkins, he was involved with the Woodrow Wilson Debate Council and worked as coordinator of after-school programs at Margaret Brent Elementary/Middle School.
Greg studies took him to SAIS’s European campus in Bologna, Italy, where he balanced a mixture of academic rigor and fantastic extracurricular opportunities, which included attending an Austrian ball in Vienna and visiting NATO in Brussels. Greg returned to the United States to complete his MA degree in Washington, DC, graduating in May of 2013.
