Gregory Burzynski

Dr. Gregory Burzynski founded Houston Concierge Medicine with the intent of serving patients through a more personalized, holistic, and overall effective platform. By using the hybrid nature of concierge membership, patients benefit from a medical support system that works in tandem instead of at odds-- and best of all, it's all at the same location.

Dr. Gregory Burzynski sees a myriad of primary care issues and offers integrative options. He is qualified per the Drug Addiction Treatment Act of 2000 (DATA 2000) to treat opioid dependence with FDA-approved medications.

The Drug Addiction Treatment Act of 2000 (DATA 2000), Title XXXV, Section 3502 of the Children’s Health Act, permits physicians who meet certain qualifications to treat opioid addiction with Schedule III, IV, and V narcotic medications that have been specifically approved by the Food and Drug Administration for that indication. Such medications may be prescribed and dispensed by waived physicians in treatment settings other than the traditional Opioid Treatment Program (“methadone clinic”) setting.

With this in mind, Dr. Burzynski offers genetic testing services to offer better treatment and preventative care for his patients.

Dr. Gregory Burzynski is currently pursuing a fellowship in integrative medicine at The University of Arizona, Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. He is an expert in the pillars of integrative medicine, which include mental health, heart health, and disease prevention. He and the team at Houston Concierge Medicine share insights on everything from healthy family relationships to proper eating habits and the importance of exercise, all of which factor into your health both day-to-day and long-term. Although Dr. Burzynski is board-certified in internal medicine he also takes the time to propose personalized health plans and treatment options for patients that aren’t starkly pharmaceutical.
