I am passionate about all things data.

After working for several years at AWS evangelizing on the AWS cloud platform and technologies, I joined Backblaze in 2021 to help launch its B2 Developer Evangelism program.

I have decades of experience as a developer. I am a seasoned application architect, data analytics specialist and software development lead with extensive experience in product and technology evangelism, developer outreach and technical training.

I am an accomplished public speaker, speaking regularly at major developer conferences including at AWS Summits, QCon, Adobe Max Annual Developer Conferences and the NAB Show.

In my off time, I am an avid swimmer and enjoy finding unique and beautiful pools to swim in around the world.
