Gregory Scott Barton

Gregory Scott Barton was born in Michigan and grew up on Grosse Ile, an island off the coast of Detroit. Growing up, he and his brother loved to explore the natural world around their home. Full of lush forest and other natural visions around Grosse Ile, as a child, Gregg was absolutely infatuated with all the sights his town has to offer.

Growing well into adulthood, he realized he was interested in the finance industry. After much thought, Gregg decided to study finance at the University of Michigan where he was exposed to the many workings and different ways of how the financial sector functions as a private institution. While his experience at the firm after graduation was rewarding, Gregory Scott Barton decided to start on a new path that focused on the real estate industry in his respective area.

Teaming up with his father, Doyle James Barton, Gregg formed Genesis Financial Group, Inc. in order to practice finance in the world of real estate. He is able to pursue his passion alongside one of the most important, inspirational mentors in his life. Both father and son work together everyday to ensure that the business needs of their company are met in every way possible.

Gregory Scott Barton prides himself in the close-knit family that brings him a great deal of joy in his everyday life. He is a proud father and loves his family. In his time off from work, he enjoys running, traveling with his family and spending time with his children.
