Gregory Taylor
Gregory Taylor is a senior, Public Relations major at the illustrious John H. Johnson School of Communications of Howard University in Washington, DC. From his hometown of Austin, TX, Gregory co-founded a social media management and training agency, Taylor & Brookover, Inc., which assists clients looking to increase their presence on the internet using social media platforms i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Google+ and countless others. His top clients include NASCAR phenom Austin Wayne Self, semiconductor industry leader AM Technical Solutions, Neighborhood Sports, the largest youth flag football organization in the world and the nation’s first and only HIV/AIDS awareness, general health and lifestyle magazine written BY and FOR students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Ledge Magazine.Take a look at some of their work http://taylorandbrookover.com/.
The New York Times, Edelman and Constituency Management Group are organizations Gregory represents in the professional development program Adopt-A-Team at Howard University. After a year of hard-work and dedication, he was appointed the leader of The New York Times advertising, sales and marketing team. Gregory's exemplary work on the communications team with Edelman led to a summer internship in New York City with Edelman Digital. In addition to the Adopt-A-Team program, Gregory is the President of the Public Relations Student Society of America, D. Parke Gibson Chapter and Vice President of Marketing for Alpha Kappa Psi, Professional Business Fraternity and serves as a Resident Assistant for the Office of Residence Life on campus.
Mentorship has played a vital role in his life. It started with coaching flag football, and now Gregory mentors the male freshman residents in the dormitory to prepare them for full-time manhood. If it were not for his undying passion, he could not have reached these milestones so early in his lifetime.
