A longtime editor with three-and-a-half decades of experience in newsroom management and print storytelling, Gregory (Greg) L. Rasa received his bachelor of journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia and his master of communication in digital media from the University of Washington. In the past, Greg Rasa served as a design editor and copy editor for the Columbia Daily Tribune, and as an assistant photo director for photography newspaper The Herald in Everett, Washington.

Presently, Greg Rasa serves as a digital news editor for the Seattle Times, where he has worked for nearly 30 years in various capacities. In his current role, Gregory L. Rasa regularly supervises teams of editors and designers, as well as applies his knowledge of analytics, SEO, and social media to expand the newspaper’s digital audience and reach.

He enjoys kayaking and possesses a fervid passion for headline writing. He is also affiliated with the Online News Association for Journalists and the American Copy Editors Society.
