Greg Schnider

An experienced commercial real estate broker, Greg Schnider specializes in transactions involving the General Services Administration (GSA), the key manager of real estate procurement for other U.S. government agencies. Since 2009, Schnider has worked in Washington, D.C., where he is the Director of the Government Services Group at the worldwide real estate advisory firm Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. In this capacity he represents private sector clients competing for GSA contracts involving the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Department of Homeland Security, and other federal agencies. Prior to accepting his position at Newmark, Greg Schnider worked as a Managing Director at Generational Wealth Advisors, a commercial real estate firm in Los Angeles that focuses on procurements, acquisitions, and dispositions of properties leased by the federal government.

Before relocating to Washington, D.C., to work for Newmark, Greg Schnider was an active member of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles. A native of Johannesburg, South Africa, he moved to California as a child, where he was educated at the Abraham Joshua Heschel Day School and later at Menlo College. As a young adult professional, Greg Schnider participated in the Jewish Federation’s Real Estate and Construction Division at the Cabinet level, regularly meeting with other real estate professionals to network, exchange views on trends in the industry, and develop projects geared toward building a better community.

In addition to the Federation, Schnider holds memberships in the Los Angeles World Affairs Council, the Federal Real Property Association, the National Federal Development Association, and the Los Angeles Commercial Real Estate Association.
