I am a happily married homeschooling homemaker with two young daughters.

Which sounds very normal and boring until you add in the fact that I live on an island overrun with grizzly bears near the Bering Sea. And that we are committed to getting oustide every day, no matter the precipitation, temperature, or hours of available daylight. And that I am trying to eke a vegetable garden out of some spruce boxes outside our government housing abode with no successful gardening history. And that I secretly love no longer having a clothesline, but I still hang our daughter's cloth diapers on our yard's fencing. And that I am on my knees every day asking God for the grace to mother my daughters in the way they deserve.

Life is cetainly an adventure here, and I love every minute of it!
