I see myself as a scientific translator, making scientific information accessible to everyone!

I am a journalism master's student at the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communication in Eugene, Oregon and a reporter for The Daily Emerald, an independent award-winning publication run by students. I am helping them launch a new science beat.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Media Production from the Washington State University Edward R. Murrow College of Communication. I also received a minor in environmental science.

Previously, I worked for The Daily Evergreen for two years while attending WSU and working for the Evergreen. I wrote science articles and shed light on projects across the university.

I am interested in science journalism, emphasizing sustainability and environmental science. As a journalist, I aim to make scientific information accessible and understandable to everyone.
