golf in Atlanta, Georgia

Even though I have only attended UGA for 12 months, my journey through my first two semesters have taught me many things. First, I have no set idea on my future employment, as I have changed my major from Computer Systems Engineering to Finance with a Statistics minor. My hope, as of now, is to work in the data analytics department for the Atlanta Braves. This profession was inspired to me by the movie Moneyball, the fourth best sports movie of all time. Personally, Jonah Hill's acting can't make up for the overall movie experience that lacks behind Space Jam, Sandlot, and Remember the Titans. Second, there are always times when you need to sit down and enjoy watching every sport possible. This ranges from golf to hockey to football and everything in between. If someone was unacquainted with me, they are fortunate to not have been a part of a few sports arguments, which span anytime to one day or across a whole sports season. Sports is my true passion, but a shoulder with zero cartilage left derailed any of my hopes to go pro in anything. Third, there is always joy in helping others. Within attending here for one month, I joined UGA Miracle to raise money for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. I was inspired to join this fantastic organization after my experience with Habitat for Humanity, when we built a military veteran a house from the ground up. Finally, there is no better place to attend college then the University of Georgia. Go Dawgs.
