Irene

Irene is a twentysomething who loves the Internet, but is deeply afraid of being "discovered" on it. Even though she has nothing to hide. Let's just call it fiercely private. She is originally from Spain, although she now lives in New York, and can never seem to commit to any one place/thing/person. She is extremely practical and responsible, but has an adventurous streak probably few people know about - like a 'drop everything and backpack around the world and put your trust in the kindness of strangers' kind of adventurous spirit. She works as a research coordinator for a major institution in NY, which affords her wonderful things like a salary and health insurance, but she still lives at home and is eagerly awaiting the day when she'll feel financially ready to make the move and be a cool Manhattanite (or Brooklynite) for real.
