Baba Jamal Koram

This veteran storyteller is originally from Greenburgh/White Plains, NY, honed his craft in Baltimore, MD and currently resides in the Commonwealth of Virginia. He is a sought after and respected elder in storytelling circles throughout the United States. Baba has directly mentored, coached, and advised many contemporary tellers by precept and example, laying the groundwork for what he calls “conscious storytelling.”
