I am the Anger Management Specialist (CAMS-I), Behavioral Health Specialist, Non Profit Organization Consultant and was a Program Director for the outpatient program at Life Line Counseling Center and others outpatient programs in Northern Virginia. I specialize in couching for anger management, depression, anxiety, relapse prevention, and addictive behaviors. Additionally, I work as a consultant for nonprofit organizations in Virginia and Maryland, focusing on behavioral health and supporting vulnerable communities, including newcomers to the country. Currently, I am employed by a nonprofit organization in DC that serves low-income, migrant, and vulnerable families and individuals from diverse communities.
With over 27 years of experience with the court system, I hold a Master of Science in Criminal Justice and am a member of the National Anger Management Association (NAMA) And currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Human Service. My professional background includes working at various nonprofit organizations in New York City, Albert Einstein College of Medicine-Montefiore, and NYC corrections. I relocated to Northern Virginia in 2015.
My expertise encompasses substance abuse addiction, anger management for adolescents, teenagers, and adults, gender dysphoria, relationships, and anxiety. I also provide mandated comprehensive safety treatment plans for court mandated individuals such as reckless/aggressive driving, DUI, DIP, drug possession, IOP, domestic violence, and other court-ordered classes mandated by parole/probation departments.
