Giving up facebook? ...
Hello friends, Lately I have been finding the things in life that make me happy and full of Joy. I have been working on staying off of facebook lately. It has been rather challenging and a hard thing to do because I am always so sucked into the amounts of time I Use on facebook. I have tried many ways to beat the craving or temptaions of getting on facebook. There are several times a day where I do check facebook and I End up staying on there another few minutes. I Use to struggle with this a lot the balance of time. I found that keeping a log "Facebook" log doesn't really help me as much, but it does want me to spend less time on facebook. When I Find things to do that I enjoy doing it helps me prevent from getting on facebook. I have been trying new things like for instance something I Enjoy lately has been going to Basketball games and spending time with friends. Yeah, I enjoy the social part of life too. I have been taking a class which I Enjoy World Geography. I am a bit of a traveler and enjoy going on trips. Also being a part of River Raft trips has been pretty new to me lately and I Find I Enjoy those trips a lot going down the Colorado River. I was born and raised here In Colorado and I have a Love for the Mountains and Skiing. I
ve been going on more runs lately and excercising more because I am a runner as well. I haven't thought about marathons yet, but maybe this summer. I feel my facebook need or crave of checking it has come to an end because I have been finding myself not posting as much pictures or feeling like I need to say something. I feel I am still there because It is a way to connect with friends, but I find my own privacy and what I Do importaint to keep to myself rather on facebook. I have also found I Enjoy speaking to people more in Person than through facebook chat or being on facebook. These are several ways how it has been helping me stay off facebook. It isn't a bad thing, but Being proactive and staying healthy and making friends
importaint and having fun and enjoying the life is given to the fullest and making new memories to be in the presence of God. I also am realizing that I am not alone in this struggle of social media and facebook. I hope that this has been helpful in a way to read and enjoy or some of my advice on how to stop checking facebook! Keep your Body Healthy and have a happy heart, body, mind and Spirit!
