I am a vascular surgeon and part owner of Capitol Vein & Laser, the premier vein center in Frederick, MD; Leesburg, VA; Charles Town, WV and Bethesda, MD. In 2000, Dr. Paul McNeill and I joined as vascular surgical partners, and our practice slowly evolved to one focused exclusively on venous disease. I was the first to offer VNUS Closure (Venefit Procedure) to the area, and am a nationally recognized speakers on the diagnosis and treatment of varicose and spider veins.

I am currently a member of the American College of Phlebology, the American Venous Forum and am a Diplomate of the American Board of Phlebology (the national accrediting body for physicians specializing in the treatment of venous disease).

As a principal investigator for a phase III FDA trial of Varisolve, a new sclerotherapy technique for varicose vein treatment, I maintain expertise in the latest innovations in vein care.
