Michael Davis

Hi there, I'm Mike. I'm a northern boy transplanted to Florida at the age of 8. 41 years later I've found my roots are firmly planted in the Sunshine State and I'm trying to make the best of it. The short version of my bio goes something like this: High school drop-out, three years military, 10 year marriage resulting in divorce, no children. Many years and many long nights trying and failing to make up for lost time found me following in my father's footsteps with a career as a nursing home maintenance director. This is what I've done for the past 25 years. Work is where I met my current wife, Renee. We are happily married and our family consists of one dog and two cats; Lashez, LuLuBelle and Q-tips. Knowing of my disillusionment with my future career prospects, it was my wife who encouraged me to go to college. Her unyielding support is the rock I am anchored to. At the advice of my composition professor and with the encouragement of friends and family, I have started my first blog. They seem to think I may have a talent for writing and I am willing to explore that while pursuing a as yet undecided technical degree.

I hope you enjoy my blogging. Thanks for stopping by.
