Grunn Funeral Home
Dayton, OH, US
An article published by Dayton Daily News incorrectly stated that Grunn Funeral Home uses a "large SUV" as an hearse. However, their Mercedes R350's can hardly be classified as such.
Grunn Funeral Home has always given families the option of using a traditional Cadillac Hearse or their non traditional Mercedes R350. "Nine out of ten families choose our Mercedes vehicles. Rarely do they choose the traditional Cadillac because our Mercedes vehicles are classy and eye catching," stated funeral director Robert Grunn.

Grunn Funeral Home was founded in Cincinnati, Ohio in 2012. The inspiration for Grunn Funeral Home actually traces back to 2008 when W. Eric Lusain unfortunately had to lay a loved one to rest. Confused and shocked at the expensive rates for all the arrangements, he was inspired to offer something different to grieving families. After doing some research and planning, he founded Main Street Casket Store to provide families with reasonably priced alternatives. Four years later, he partnered with Robert Grunn to found Grunn Funeral Home.
The company now offers a large variety of services, including traditional burials, cremations, monuments, and casket flower sprays. Grunn Funeral Home also recently expanded its business by opening a second location in Dayton, Ohio. Because of the expansion, the company now has the ability to provide services to families in the Northern Kentucky area, as well.
