Gian Paolo is a visionary technology leader in the 21st-century landscape, wielding 18+ years of experience that sweeps across the expansive development universe. He is an ardent technology enthusiast and has dedicatedly pursued machine learning since 2017, steadily growing in his knowledge and experience while contributing to ML technologies.
With a focus that shifted toward Machine Learning in 2017, Gian Paolo has demonstrated mastery in the architecture, design, and development of high-performance enterprise applications. His technical wizardry extends to harnessing the power of AI, Ink, Touch, Gestures, Voice, and VR/AR technologies, ensuring their effective implementation in both private and public Clouds.
With over a decade in banking and finance enterprise development, he has led the creation and implementation of scalable enterprise applications, using the latest on-premise and cloud technologies to enhance scalability and drive customer satisfaction.
Among Gian Paolo's recognitions, he held the title of Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) from 2012 to 2022 and served as a Microsoft Regional Director from 2018 to 2020. These honors reflect his significant contributions to technologies and enterprise cloud, situating him within an exclusive circle of global tech and business leaders.
With the release of ChatGPT in 2022, he brought into focus the implementation of Large Language Models for enterprises using their proprietary data. Following the surge in the availability of open-source Large Language models, he concentrated on architecting and developing Large Language Model systems that operate seamlessly within a Kubernetes cluster. This endeavor has provided him with extensive experience in deploying open-source LLMs for commercial applications.
Currently, he serves as a technical fellow at IBV Solutions in Bonstetten, Switzerland, spearheading development teams and promoting innovation through R&D. He bridges the gap between development and business, working closely with product management and contributing to sales engineering by engaging directly with customers and partners.
