Gary Schechner

Currently I make the world safe for corn dogs, beverages & smokes as the advertising & marketing manager for BP's $1.3B convenience store brand: ampm. In my role, I oversee all consumer touchpoints from advertising (tv, radio, OOH, digital), social media (Facebook & Twitter...where I act as our brand's voice!) &digital; (web, banners, SMS, email) to marketing programs & merchandising/POP production.

I bring over 18 years of marketing and advertising experience (both on the agency- and the client-sides of the table) with an MBA in marketing from the University of Southern California (Marshall School of Business.) I am accomplished in all marketing disciplines: product management, brand, marcom, promotions & channel programs, etc. Similarly, I have the traditional advertising mediums of digital (rich media/web banners), print, broadcast (TV & radio) and collateral experience on the agency side of the business.

I'm a 'recovering' Ironman triathlete & my passions outside of work include: running, cycling, swimming, golf, yoga, tennis, motorcycle racing and windsurfing.
