Gender&Sexuality Interest Group La Trobe University

We are a Post-Graduate student run interest group whom meet regularly at La Trobe University (Melbourne - Franklin St. campus) to discuss research relating to gender and sexuality. The group's aims are to educate post-graduate students and early career researchers about issues relating to gender and sexuality, to provide a forum for discussion, to provide networking opportunities and to encourage future research in the field.

Speakers who work in the field (academics, writers, psychologists, social workers, and other practitioners) are invited to speak at regular seminars on various topics associated with sexuality and gender. Reflecting the breadth of this research area - speakers may be from a range of disciplines: including sociology, public health, psychology and medicine.

Post-Graduate students and Early Career Researchers who are interested in gender and sexuality are invited to join the group. Membership is free.
