G. T. Montgomery

G. T. Montgomery is a graduate of Wake Forest University, from which he received a degree in English Literature.

In 2012, he won the inaugural Winston-Salem Writers essay contest, with the essay subsequently appearing in Taking Flight: 2012. In 2014, his first book-length work -Ghosts of Old Salem, North Carolina- was published by The History Press. Most recently, his short story “Final Descent” was included in The Nightmare Collective, an anthology of horror stories compiled by PlayWithDeath.com.

He resides in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky with his wife, Genevieve, where he writes a column for Examiner.com about historic places in "The Derby City."
