GoToSUA Work&travel

Founded in 2003 as part of GTS Travel Group, GTS International through GoToSUA has been helping thousands of Romanian students spend their summer break working and traveling in the USA.

Work and Travel is an American exchange program founded in the 60's by the US Department of State. The purpose of this program is to help the students enrich their cultural knowledge, travel abroad and learn more about the corporate environment in the American companies.

In partnership with the U.S. sponsor, GoToSUA organizes Job Fairs in Romania, where the participants have their job interviews with the American employers.
The types of jobs on offer include sales-people, cashiers, hosts and staff in hotels, restaurants or entertainment parks. Candidates do not normally need to have qualification or experience as training will be given at the place of work as necessary. The participants should have a positive attitude, know English at least at a conversational level, be willing to learn and follow the employers' work standards.
It is very fun and interesting to work with students from all over the world, to be part of a young team, in an American working environment. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and make friends, to learn and gain a new perspective, career wise.

During the summer, the participants have the posibility to travel throughout the United States. Road trips are very popular among the youth, but some employers offer trips to the big cities too. Also, during their working weeks, there can attend plenty of cultural events in the city, most of them planned by the employer.
The United States of America offers great oportunities to these participants. In the USA, they can find the most beautiful natural parks, they can visit the biggest cities in the world and they can improve their English level with the first hand help from native Americans.

GTS International Romania through GoToSUA proudly coordinates this program and we believe that it is helpful in the process of learning, growing and developing a working standard and an enterprising spirit.
