Guadalupe Garcia

Ever since I was little, I loved school. Entering a new classroom with new classmates was always exciting for me. Though, I was always curious who my teacher would be. I would think to myself if she would be mean or nice. Luckily, I always had awesome teachers who cared for me and inspired me.

As I grew older, I started to think that being a teacher would be awesome! I have a little brother who I still help til this day with his homework. I am the only one he comes to for help. I am involved in his education because I want him to succeed. I consider him as one of my students. I knew right then and there I wanted to become a teacher.

I attend the University of Illinois at Chicago. I am a secondary major in english. I have an immense passion for teaching! Now I am a sophomore in College and ready to have my own classroom!
