Guang YANG

Started as a product designer, I showed great interest in research while completing my Master degree (Industrial Design) at Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. From then on, I emphasized on training my abilities in understanding people, culture, and trends while thinking outside design itself. I am passionate in generate insights through research and implment them into design practice and my experiences ranges from mobile interaction, product design, user research and exhibition design. As a Chinese native, with the global working and experiences in Lenovo (Lenovo Innovation Design Center), Utop Design studio, Samsung Design China, and Fjord. be part of a team with interaction and strategic focus, ideally working with people from different background to have a wider vision and interdisciplinary focus. I am currently working in an interaction/service design firm name Fjord, my job ranges including both concepting, analyze, research and design, which offered me a great position to work on interaction design tasks in many phases. I have attitude for service and capacity of fast adapt to new knowledge. I am organized, friendly and team oriented, and beside my professional interests, food and travel are two of my many favorates.
