Guannu Kuluku Dezon

Guannu Kuluku Dezon was born in Monrovia, Liberia. He received the B.A. degree in Sociology from the University of Liberia, Monrovia, Liberia, in 2010, the M.P.RH.G.D (Master of Population, Reproductive Health, Gender and Development) degree from the East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, 2013, and the M.S.S (Master of Social Science) degree in Sociology from the Dhaka International University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 2014.
He served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the East West University and Dhaka International University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, in 2012 and 2014, respectively. In 2015, he joined the Department of Sociology, Cuttington University, as a Senior Lecturer. His current research interests include Gender, Culture/Identity, Symbolic Interaction, Social Construction, Ethnography, Narrative Analysis, Race/Ethnicity, Medical Sociology, Social Inequalities, Poverty and Vulnerability. He has presented researched papers at local and international conferences, symposia, seminars; and also published few academic papers in reputable international peer-reviewed journals. He is married with four children.
