AI Systems Architect in Portland, OR 97229
I am an AI Systems Architect based in Portland, Oregon, focused on designing governed, anti-fragile AI systems for enterprises.
My work centers on one question:
How do we prevent human error, incentives, and organizational chaos from turning AI into a risk instead of an asset?
Over the last two decades I have led and built technology, operations, and digital ventures across software, commerce, and media. I have seen how fragile systems fail — not because the technology was weak, but because governance, incentives, and execution were misaligned.
Those lessons now define my work in AI.
I design architectures where:
• AI decisions are observable
• failures are contained
• incentives are aligned
• and systems learn instead of collapsing
This approach is especially critical as AI begins to approve loans, deny healthcare, set prices, and automate enterprise operations.
Alongside technology, I have worked in film and media, which taught me something equally important: people don’t trust systems they don’t understand. Story, transparency, and accountability are part of every system that survives at scale.
Today, I work with founders, executives, and organizations who want AI that is not just powerful — but safe, auditable, and resilient.
