Born in Guadalajara, Mexico in 1985. Migrated to the United States when she was six-years-old . Vanessa took on the challenge of learning English within the first year to get ahead of her class.
In 2009, she became a first generation college graduate from Sacramento State University with a bachelors degree in Mass Media Communications and minor in Journalism.
Unimpressed with the communications industry and lack of jobs, Vanessa remained in the law sector until 2012-the year she decided to pursue her passion for sports. Following a comprehensive selection process was awarded placement in Europe's number one sports program-The FIFA Masters.
Under the guidance of global sports leaders she obtained training in the area of Management, Law and Humanities of Sport.
Vanessa presented her dissertation to a panel of experts, where she highlighted key trends and the future of various extreme sports in the Olympic movement.
2013-2014 was a rewarding year, as she began her professional career with Major League Soccer's marketing arm-Soccer United Marketing.
She has grown into a enthusiastic professional capable of providing growth to sporting organizations across multiple platforms.
