Guilherme Souza Gomes

I have been working on IT projects for more than 15 years, having occupied from junior positions to senior of software development, architecture, coordinator and projects manager.

I am a highly motivated, result driven professional. I am honest about what I don’t know while I work hard to gain the knowledge I need to do the work and answer the questions at hand. I consider the most important question in engineering to be “Why?” I believe failure in engineering is always an option, but only when something valuable is learned. I communicate well in English and Portuguese, that facilitates my working well in a team environment. I constantly work to educate myself on subjects I feel can bring improvement in quality or efficiency to my work or to that of my team-mates. While computer science and mathematics go hand-in-hand.

Nothing is more fulfilling than being part of a team with similar interests, and an organization that values its employees. I like building new stuff and work with other people – nothing really interesting is ever built alone!
