Guillaume Lombrosa

Hello I am Guillaume and I am a fan of yachts. I started really soon in Cannes, South of France, being responsible of charter yachts. Rapidly I have been fascinated by the yachts transactions. Buying a yacht is a big decisions involving millions of dollars, your buyer and seller have to be happy and confortable with the transaction, which makes it really challenging.

Yachting industry is growing really fast in the last decade with more and more multi millionaires every year. A yacht is a mean of transportation and in the same time a floating house. You have numerous technical details like any motorized vehicle but design details too like you are going to live a few weeks or months a year in it.

In 1998 I decided then to create a yacht broker company called Lombrosa Yacht. I have noticed that buyers like sellers wanted to buy or sell their yacht in a particular place and can be pretty lost looking for a local broker or yacht available for sale in the place they were.

It was time to create a worldwide network of yacht brokers with a listing of all the yachts available for sale in the world. We have now local brokers in Asia (Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, Thailand, Singapore and Philippines), Australia (Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney), New Zealand, Europe (France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Monaco, Spain and UK), Canada, California (San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco), Florida (Tampa and Miami), New York, South Africa (Durban, Adelaide and Cap Town) and Dubai.

Building this huge network has been a hard work but we can now offer a service of excellence wherever they want to buy or sell their yacht in the world, with local brokers speaking more than 10 languages.

You can read a lot of publication from me now from different yacht organization I am a part of. We are partnering with The Yacht Guy to make short time video of the visits and negotiations in our yacht transactions. Indeed, negotiations can be really hard with millions of dollars discount in discussion. That is where we have expertise too, we have a clear understanding of the market, technical experts in our team from the most recognize yacht construction companies, so we are able to define a really price market price for each yacht we are selling.
