Software Engineer living in San Francisco who is helping create a better world, one grain of sand at a time.
Originally from Bilbao (Basque Country), a renovated industrial town located in the north of Spain.
My journey started with my brother's ZX Spectrum +2 and 486 computers. I couldn't use them the way I wanted so I assembled my own, becoming the computer person in my circle. A few years later I decided to get a masters in Telecommunications Engineering to see if I was able to create my own.
Along the way I got absorbed in this thing called "The Internet" and its seemingly endless possibilities. Thanks to it, the word of Open Source arrived to me...and BOOM!... GNU/Linux installed everywhere.
My weaknesses are mobile techonologies, and I can't go to sleep if I start thinking about them. I’ve been lucky to work on some amazing, cutting edge stuff so far, but I know I’m just scratching the surface in terms of what’s to come.
Techonology is still revolutionizing the way politics, economics, society, etc.. work and I really want to belong to that change.
Oh, I also have friends and stuff... :-)
