I’m Gulamally Husain, a private equity investor relations and fund operations professional with over 20 years of experience across capital markets, institutional fundraising, and financial management.

My journey began in the financial markets of India, where I worked in stock broking and derivatives trading. Those early years taught me the importance of discipline, risk awareness, and precise execution under pressure.

Over time, I transitioned into private equity and investor relations, spending many years based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, working with institutional investors across the GCC. I have supported senior leadership in fundraising activities, managed investor communications, coordinated LP meetings and reporting, and helped implement systems that make investor engagement smoother and more reliable.

I’ve worked on large fundraisings, driven investor coverage strategies, and tackled complex operational challenges that link investor expectations with fund administration and financial reporting.

Today, I work as a consultant, bringing clarity and operational strength to investor relations and fund operations. My professional focus is on building long-term relationships, delivering accurate information quickly, and ensuring that institutional investors feel informed and confident.

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring ideas that connect finance with everyday life and learning from professionals across industries.
