I'm an focused Engineering Director for Desire2Learn. A passionate technology professional with an obsession with social media and its affect on learning and privacy. Whether I’m acting as a product manager, agile product owner or directing the activities of an entire software engineering division, I foster development teams to deliver products that they are proud of. I've launched products across Canada, co-chaired on standards committees – examples of my many career successes. Particular achievements I am proud of are:

My career starts with frontier of mobile computing as a professional services consultant with iAnywhere Solutions (now Sybase), improving community healthcare as the Product Manager with MD Physician Services, and continues as an Engineering Director with Desire2Learn exploring how technology can improve the educational experience.

Projects that I'm proud of:

• Launched the myDesire2learn.com life-long learning network to extend student's ePortfolios into their careers.
• ePrescribing pilot project with the Georgian Bay FHT and eHealth Ontario - one of the first in the province of Ontario. Removing the physical barriers of paper prescriptions and allowing medications to be referenced from almost anywhere within the region.
• Managed bid teams to win 3 provincial RFPs for physican management systems. Launched the PS Suite EMR product in the provinces of BC, AB, and SK.
• Championed the integration of Adobe Connect, Kaltura, and Google Apps for Education and Business for the Desire2Learn Learning Environment. Providing seamless interfaces to control and access services while remaining in context of learning objectives.
• ​Breslau Lions Club Treasurer. Servicing the community and raising funds for the town's splashpad.
