Gustavo Sanoja

Public Speaker and Project Manager in Boston, Massachusetts

My dream job is to be a portfolio manager, working side by side with the finance department and using technological solutions to maximize revenue with little risk. I also hope to some day be able to work remotely, no matter the time or place.

The three main skills that I have successfully developed over my career are Leadership, Communication and Negotiation. One of the skills that I continue to hone is non-verbal communication, or the power of sending and receiving information on a subconscious level.

I aspire to be known as the person who can improve your company using the particular knowledge that I have. By analyzing your organization, politics, interactions, employees and data, I will tell you what small changes you can make to maximize your utilities with the lowest risk possible in an effective and efficient way.

The most important value to me is Kaizen, also known as the practice of continuous improvement. Making small changes every day will allow me to improve my performance in both personal and professional areas.

What makes me unique is my professional background and experiences. At university, I developed an engineering vision that let me find solutions in a practical and real way. My master's degree in finance helps me see the financial variables of any process. Having a master's degree in project management allows me to create and monitor procedures to obtain specific results, while considering all possible obstacles. Additionally, living for almost 30 years in Venezuela, a country with many limitations, helped me become more creative and pushed me to always find a solution outside the box.

Most of my coworkers describe me as a predictable partner who you can trust to be transparent and reliable. I am also known as a great planner, with a very tactical approach to the issues. Finally, I have been told that I am a noble person, with high moral principles and ideals.
