Buenos Aires, Argentina

I'm a computer programmer since I was a teenager, and a journalist ever since I can remember.

As a programmer I've worked in several areas. First, I specialized in information security, but later on I worked in web development and database applications, among other fields.

As a journalist, I've written and produced content for different sections (from City Information to Politics), and for diverse kind of media (printed press, on-line and radio). I'm currently working for Perfil newspaper in Argentina.

I'm collaborating -as a newsman, as a coder, or as both- in various data journalism projects -about public information access, social scraping and crowd fact-checking.

I believe that mixing both fields is not only one of the keys to find the future of journalism, but also a unique way to combine my two passions.

When I'm not doing any of this, I try to keep playing my clarinet and continue to improvise with my saxophone.
