Guteng Walnshak Solomon
Communication Professional, Knowledge Management, and Storytelling in Abuja - Nigeria
I am a strategic communications and knowledge management professional with over seven years of experience designing and delivering communication strategies that strengthen visibility, build stakeholder trust, translate complex ideas into compelling narratives, and turn evidence into influence.
My career spans Jolt Hub, Propcom+ (Palladium), OnyxIAL, Mercy Corps’ USAID Feed the Future Nigeria Rural Resilience Activity, CCDRN, and GIZ/Ake Collective, where I have supported donor-funded and private-sector initiatives across agriculture, market systems, resilience, livelihoods, governance, and climate adaptation. This has given me a strong understanding of how communication can connect technical work with the people, institutions, and audiences that matter.
I specialise in strategic communication, knowledge management, storytelling, evidence-based content development, stakeholder engagement, digital communications, and programme visibility. I have a proven track record of coordinating multi-partner communication efforts, developing high-quality knowledge and multimedia products, and leveraging mainstream and digital platforms to amplify results and reach both local and global audiences.
I combine strategic thinking with hands-on creative capability in photography, videography, graphic design, and the production of communication and knowledge products. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from the University of Jos and a Master’s in Corporate Communication from Rome Business School Nigeria.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief: communication should do more than tell stories; it should make knowledge accessible, demonstrate impact, connect people, build trust, and move ideas into action. I bring this approach to every assignment, with a commitment to communication that is strategic, evidence-driven, inclusive, dignified, and purposeful.
I am open to opportunities where communication can help organisations strengthen their visibility, influence, learning, stakeholder relationships, and impact.
