Having been born with a serious kidney disease, I have lived my entire life fighting renal failure. I have had two renal transplants, both which my body rejected and have spent time as a very young child on hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. My senior year of high school I once again began needing dialysis. I am currently doing home hemodialysis.

Over the years I have realized how much time dialysis takes and how hard it is for kids to sit still for 3-4 hours at a time, three days a week during dialysis. Watching videos and playing video games helps pass time as well are reading books, drawing and many other things.

My goal is to help kids enjoy something and pass time more quickly while they are dialyzing.
