Guy Goulet

Guy Goulet graduated from Ecole Polytechnique de Montréal with an engineering degree in geology in 1986, which led him to be a member of Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. He has been active in the mining industry for over 25 years.

From 1995 to 2000 he was on the Board of directors of five Canadian mining companies listed on the Stock Market. Between 1996-1999 he was the principal actor in the development of three gold projects including the Wrightbar mine in Val d'Or (Quebec). He has participated in collaboration with Hydro-Quebec (LTEE division) and Groupe-Conseil STAS, in the only project which led to production of lithium metal from high grade lithium carbonate.

In 2000, he co-founded H2O Innovation, the most important water treatment company in Canada, which manufactures and installs integrated systems on diverse markets and is the first public company with a dual listing on the TSX Venture and the Alternext Exchange. He was CEO and Chairman of the Board from its founding until 2008.

In November 2008, Mr. Goulet was nominated as President of Maya Gold & Silver Inc, and in 2010 was promoted to CEO.

During his career, Mr. Goulet has raised more than CAD 85 millions in capital, via TSX.V for different mining projects besides H2O Innovation.
