Dr. Guy Hingston brings more than 15 years of medical experience to his role as a breast and cancer surgeon. Serving patients in New South Wales, Australia, Dr. Hingston specializes in breast reconstruction and reduction surgery. Dr. Guy Hingston has maintained membership in the Breast Section of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons since 1998. He also belongs to BreastSurgANZ as a Foundation Member.

In preparation for his career in surgical oncology, Dr. Guy Hingston received training in surgery techniques with fellowships at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Brisbane, Australia, and St. Marks Breast Centre in New Zealand. Early in his career, He became one of the first surgeons in New Zealand to make use of the sentinel node biopsy procedure to evaluate the spread of breast cancer to the lymphatic system. He went on to conduct extensive research on the technique at the Glasgow Royal Infirmary in Scotland, where he acted as Lister Fellow. Outside of his work in the operating room, Dr. Hingston lectures on the topic of preventive health care to audiences that include the pubic as well as medical professionals.
