Gerardo Veliz

Hello, I’m Gerardo. I’m a rising undergraduate senior studying Civil and Environment Engineering at UC Berkeley. I love math and I'm interested in research in fluid mechanics and its intersection with ecological processes, hydro-morphology and water purification. Hip hop is a huge part of my life outside of academics: I'm a bboy ("breakdancer") and I believe that hip hop is an oasis for the youth of low socio-economic communities.
