Gwenaelle Clarke
executive business administrator, scientist, and mother in Lenexa, Kansas
I pursued my passion for the study of life by earning a biology degree at the University of Lausanne, and did one year of exchange program in Berlin. During my Diploma I researched Alzheimer’s disease. I then worked at KU on patch clamping and enrolled in the PhD program in Neuroscience at the University of Kansas Medical Center. I received my PhD in 2009 and followed my studies with two post-docs on the plasticity of the nervous system.
In 2012, while primarly caring for my children, I took a break from science and started working with my husband to build a car restoration business focused and classic automobiles called MyCarProject. I am in charge of accounting and I participate in the administration of the business.
