Gwen Auckloo

During my six years in Student Affairs I have had the opportunity to work across the department of Residential Education. I have been able to work with training, selection, and student conduct while supervising Freshmen through Senior communities.

Thanks to an amazing collateral experience I worked to develop a Sophomore social media community tying in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and blogging.

I am a true INFJ however I can pull a little E out when needed! My strengths are: Input, Intellection, Empathy, Learner and Context which play out in my everyday interactions with residents and staff. If you are curious about my true colors: I am a blue through and through.

I always look to improve the experiences of my residents and showcase the unique atmosphere that is developed every year. I use best practices from other schools and adapt them to my communities.

I find my influences not only from books and literature about the field of student affairs but from the students I interact with and supervise every year.
