Gwen Dell'Anno

I recently passed my 50th birthday. As I've matured, I've come to realize the deep connection that I feel with the land and how much it fuels my energy and my passion when I am honouring that connection.

This is my story of trying to make a rural property into a small farm.... grow and preserve some of our own food, care for some animals, reconnect with the earth, explore herbal and natural health and well-being and enjoy the fresh country air and sunshine.

My letterboxing handle is Water Lily. Thus.... homesteadingwithwaterlily. My family (husband and 14yo son) and I live on an acreage, about 1 1/4 hours NW of Calgary. I work for the Alberta Camping Association as their Executive Director. In my spare time, I letterbox (less recently), garden and fuss with chickens.
